The Opportunity

Your Responsibilities
- Property Care: Visit designated accounts to maintain landscaped beds and ornamental areas.
- Weed Management: Hand-pull larger weeds (3”+) and precision-spray smaller growth using a backpack sprayer.
- System Logging: Use the Nektyde system to track progress, log site notes, and communicate with the office.
- Client Experience: Ensure that every property looks its absolute best for our patrons and staff.

Lawn Care Specialist (Category 3 Applicator)
Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 / hour (Based on Experience) + Sales Bonuses + Production Pay Options

This is the perfect role for someone who likes to manage their own day, operate top-tier equipment, and avoid the"rainy day" grind.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Expert Application: Applying lawn care treatments to premium residential and commercial properties using late-model ride-on spreader/sprayers.
- Property Diagnosis: Inspecting and diagnosing insects, diseases, and turf health issues to keep our clients' properties in peak condition.
- Customer Interaction: Acting as a professional advisor to clients, explaining treatments, and making expert recommendations.
- Safety First: Maintaining a safety-conscious approach in all aspects of chemical handling and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Certification: Certified in Category 3 Turf & Landscape (or the ability to obtain it within 30 days).
- Experience: 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly (up to 80 lbs. occasionally).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Big Plus: CDL and/or Sales experience.

What the Schedule Looks Like
We value a strong work-life balance while hitting our goals during thepeak season.
- Shift: Monday through Thursday (Enjoy a 3-day weekend most weeks!).
- Hours: 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM.
- Finish Line: Your day ends when the route is complete (typically around 5:30 PM, though this varies by season and workload).
- Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required during our busiest seasons.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a vital member of our field team, you will handle everything from routine lawn care to new landscape installations:
- Lawn & Garden Care: Mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching.
- Plant Health: Planting shrubs and flowers; trimming/pruning trees and hedges; and monitoring plant health through proper watering and pest management.
- Site Cleanup: Using rakes, shovels, and blowers to keep properties and sidewalks debris-free.
- Equipment Tech: Operating and maintaining tools like tractors, mowers, aerators, and leaf blowers.
- Installations: Assisting with the installation of new landscaping materials to transform properties.
What We’re Looking For
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 40 pounds and handle a full day of standing, bending, pulling, and climbing in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Safety First: Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and a commitment to wearing required PPE.
