Purpose and Description:

Position is responsible for managing all field operations within the assigned divisions.  Coordinates the procurement and scheduled use of resources, including labor, equipment and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within the budget, safety guidelines and quality standards.

Promotes the growth and development of field staff and assists them in carrying out their responsibilities as needed.  Coordinates use of resources within other divisions and lends support to operational activities for the entire company.

Excellent communication is a must and a priority when carrying out any job duties and work.

Responsibilities and Activities:

• Manage project budgets; know where each project is at all times. Immediately report to Owner any jobs deviating from budgets of time, schedule, cost or any other factor so appropriate adjustments can be made to maximize the end result.
• Manages and schedules labor, equipment, and material to accomplish production schedules within established budgets. Maintain strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.
• Understand contract specifications and ensure they are met and maintain customers complete satisfaction.
• Provide the most recent plans/documents to field staff at the beginning of the day and provide instruction to ensure crew leaders and crews are prepared to complete the job.
• Ensure all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines. Conducts safety inspections on jobsites.
• Investigate any accident or safety violation, prepares appropriate reports, take action steps to correct and prevent future occurrences. Defines and implements solutions to reoccurring accidents and most common hazards.
• Supervise employees, enforcing proper uniform and safety equipment use, and approving time.
• Coordinate the use of labor, equipment, and materials with Management as needed.
• Visit job sites on a regular basis, observing organization of work, identifying, and resolving training issues and taking necessary actions to ensure quality.
• Respond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and service.
• Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, shop, office, and customer work sites.
• Management of all field staff. Includes recommendations for firing and hiring.  Also includes training, coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to reach potential and established goals for the individual and company.
• Implement and conduct safety training.

Suggested Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

• 5 + years’ experience
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and CLEAN driving record
• Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including wheel loaders, skid loaders, bucket truck, dump trucks, with various attachments; other construction equipment as needed.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience in one or more areas of our service offerings
• Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees; identification and cultural requirements
• Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is very detail orientated.

Extraordinary Work Conditions:

• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary.

$25 - $34/Hour
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in landscape install required. Candidates must know how to read landscape designs/blueprints, operate skid loaders, drive truck and trailer, and operate other landscape equipment. Candidates must also understand timelines, manage/lead a crew of up to 3 people, and have common sense. Good communication skills are a must for this position. Must have a valid driving license and clean driving record. CDL is a plus, but not required.

Our lawn care specialists work Monday-Thursday for 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 am (depending upon the season) and ending around 5:30 or when the job is complete. Starting pay is $22-28 per hour, or a Production Pay option is available. $1500 sign on bonus (minimum 3 yrs experience)We provide transportation to the job site from our shop. You must enjoy working outside and be comfortable working with chemicals. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to diagnosing insect, plant disease, and weed issues, applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, maintaining application records, performing equipment maintenance and calibration, mixing fertilizers and control products, upholding safety standards, and building friendly relationships with homeowners, property visitors, and the public at large.

A Landscape Designer is responsible for creating and designing outdoor spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable. They work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, develop plans and design concepts, and oversee the implementation of the design.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and drawing plans for each client’s unique space
• Collaborating with clients and their ideas to fully understand their vision
• Discovering and addressing conflicts between client preferences and end functionality of a design
• Putting together full plans to illustrate how a new design will integrate into an existing space
• Meeting with clients regarding budgetary details, design requirements and project completion timelines
• Consult with clients to determine project requirements and goals
• Develop design concepts and plans using landscape design software
• Create detailed drawings of landscape designs, including measurements, materials, and plant types
• Oversee the construction and installation of landscape designs a plus, but not required
• Choose plants and materials that are appropriate for the site/state and meet client preferences and budget

Qualifications

• Experience with hardscapes and softscapes preferred
• Ability to quote projects a plus but not required
• Bachelor's degree in landscape design, horticulture, or related field, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in landscape design
• Professional certification, such as from the Association of Professional Landscape Designers
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, and environmental challenges

This position is part time and can be held as an independent designer.  You deal directly with the clients and get paid directly from the clients.  There are other options available and open for discussion.

$18 - $24/Hour
This position is for experienced people in this field. If you like being outside and working alone, then this job is for you. You will have a box van and route that is your route to manage and maintain weekly with the opportunity to upsell work that you observe needing to be done at each property, with a bonus paid on additional services sold. Mow routes are done mainly on the same days each week, as well as string trimming.

Our tree service crews work Monday-Thursday for 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 am (depending upon the season) and ending around 5:30 or when the job is complete. Starting pay is $20-24 per hour. We provide transportation to the job site from our shop, and your responsibilities will include taking direction from our certified arborists and operating a chainsaw and/or chipper.

We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy the outdoors and man glitter. We are a full-service tree company with ISA certified arborists on staff. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitiously and have a good work ethic. Ability to operate a chainsaw and chipper is preferred but not required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

$25 - $35/Hour
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tree climbing, aerial/lift/bucket truck tree removal, chainsaw maintenance and chipper operation. CDL and/or ISA Certified Tree worker Climber Specialist is strongly preferred for this position. The proper candidate will know how to assess terrestrial and aerial hazards on the jobsite, safely prune or remove a tree, drive truck and trailer, operate end loader/skid loader, operate stump grinder, and lead a crew of up to 3 people. Candidates MUST be willing to work on landscape jobs when requested. We are not looking to hire “Lumberjack Larry” or “Chainsaw Charlie”.

Hours vary depending upon snowfall, but you must be on call 24/7, including holidays (we have some flexibility with your schedule if notified in advance), to manage snow events as they occur. Well established lawn care, landscape & tree service company has an opening for a part time mechanic/handyman. 10 to 20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible, but weekday evenings are preferred. Saturdays are flexible & occasionally needed. Jobs include mower & power equipment maintenance & repair, oil changes, brake jobs, miscellaneous minor plumbing, electrical & light carpentry, etc.

Turf & Tree Worx is looking for Bed Maintenance crew personnel.  Part time position with flexibility, with our preference being full days approximately 6 to 8 hours per day.  Approximately 7 to 10 days per month depending on how many accounts we have.  Could be more depending on the customer base.  Work is from May through September.

Responsibilities:

• Visit commercial and residential accounts for the purpose of maintaining landscaped areas and beds.
• Pull 3” weeds and up and spray the smaller weeds with a backpack of Round Up.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
• Ability to bend, kneel, etc. for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of weeds and basic knowledge of plants/perennials
• Ability to work alone and/or with another team member.
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills
