Meet Our Owner
Darryl Zellmer started a part-time snowplowing and lawn mowing business from his home in 1989. Over the next three years, that evolved into Turf & Tree Worx. As the demand for dedicated landscape contractors continued to grow, Darryl brought on more employees, invested in specialized equipment, and, in 1995, rented a small business warehouse in Milwaukee. By the next year, the business had grown to require a new headquarters, and Turf & Tree Worx found its current home in West Bend.
Darryl prioritizes relationships, both within the company and with our clients. Every team member plays an important role, and they're all supported in their professional goals and advancement. Together, we provide the detailed lawn care, weed and insect control, outdoor living installation, tree services, and snow removal that residents and commercial property owners in West Bend rely on year after year.
In the Community
Explore our involvement in the Newburg Fireman's Picnic parade, where we proudly showcased our presence. Last year ( 2022 ) we took first place. This year ( 2023 ) we took 2nd place. The theme this year was community. The parade is held in Newburg, WI the Sunday morning of the picnic every year.
