Meet Our Owner
Darryl Zellmer started a part-time snowplowing and lawn mowing business from his home in 1989. Over the next three years, that evolved into Turf & Tree Worx. As the demand for dedicated landscape contractors continued to grow, Darryl brought on more employees, invested in specialized equipment, and, in 1995, rented a small business warehouse in Milwaukee. By the next year, the business had grown to require a new headquarters, and Turf & Tree Worx found its current home in West Bend.
Darryl prioritizes relationships, both within the company and with our clients. Every team member plays an important role, and they're all supported in their professional goals and advancement. Together, we provide the detailed lawn care, weed and insect control, outdoor living installation, tree services, and snow removal that residents and commercial property owners in West Bend rely on year after year.
Meet the Team
Toni Boldt
Toni Boldt has been a dedicated member of our organization since 2005. She adeptly manages various responsibilities, including office operations, telephone communications, human resources, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additionally, she willingly undertakes fieldwork tasks as necessary.
Dave White
Dave White serves as our esteemed mechanic and has been an integral part of Turf & Tree Worx since 2016.
Mike Horn
Mike Horn has been a valued member of Turf & Tree Worx since 2019, primarily specializing in winter plowing activities. Additionally, he provides valuable assistance on various projects throughout the entire season.
Jeff Roller
Jeff Roller has been a valued member of Turf & Tree Worx since August 2023. Commencing his tenure on the mowing crew, Jeff has progressively expanded his expertise to encompass various other areas within the organization.
Paul Mycles
Paul is our Production Manager.
Paul used to work for TTW and came back this year.
Paul is a certified applicator, besides doing hardscapes and patios.

In the Community
Explore our involvement in the Newburg Fireman's Picnic parade, where we proudly showcased our fleet and team. Over the years, we're proud to have taken first and second place, with themes focusing on community. The parade is held in Newburg, WI the Sunday morning of the picnic every year.
